Yes. Businesses have the option to fully take ownership and independently manage their website through their own Wix account if preferred. Once the website build is completed by Akio Website Design Studio at the cost of $499.99, ownership of the website can be transferred. In order to transfer ownership, the business must first create their own Wix account. The website can then be transferred directly into their account where Akio Website Design Studio relinquishes ALL responsibilities and the new owner becomes responsible for all future platform billing, hosting, domain connection, edits, maintenance, updates, and ongoing management of the website. Because the website is built within the Wix platform ecosystem, an active Wix hosting/platform plan is still required for the website to remain live, editable, and fully functional online.
